James E. Wolfe Skate Park Rules & Regulations

THE SKATE PARK OPENS AT DAWN AND CLOSES AT DUSK.

The Skate Park is a skate at your own risk facility, designed for skateboarding, in-line skating and BMX biking only (No Pegs on Bike Wheels).  The Borough of Tarentum does not assume any responsibility for loss or injuries.

Skateboarding, in-line skating and BMX biking is a high risk activity.  Wearing a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards is strongly recommended and should be used at all times. Know your ability and skate/ride accordingly.

Inspect the surfaces before you ride them.  Remove all trash, debris and objects that may prevent a smooth, safe ride.  Report any damage to the Skate Park surfaces to the Tarentum Borough Office at (724)224-1818.

All organized events require advanced, written approval for Tarentum Borough.

This is an unsupervised facility, police yourself and others and be respectful to all skaters.

Graffiti in the Skate Park is illegal and will not be tolerated.  Keep the park surfaces clean, as graffiti will close the park for removal of paint or other foreign materials.

Persons ten years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Obstacles, ramps, other equipment or materials are not permitted to be used or added to the facility.

DO NOT use the Skate Park during bad weather or when skating surfaces are wet or icy.

NO Drugs, Alcohol, or Tobacco Products will be permitted.

NO loud music or disorderly conduct will be permitted.

NO pets allowed in the Skate Park.

NO food, drinks or glass containers are permitted inside the Skate Park.

NO littering. Please use the trash containers.

Failure to comply with Skate Park Rules & Regulations will result in being permanently banned from this facility.

NOTICE:  If the Skate Park is not kept clean, it will be closed until someone makes arrangements with the Borough Office to clean it up.  It’s your park. KEEP IT CLEAN!
